Jan Doeksen

Jan graduated in 1977 at the former Landbouwhogeschool (Wageningen University) where he studied agricultural economics. Since then he has been involved in management information systems in various positions. He started his career as a scientist at the Institute for Agricultural Econonmics in The Hague. From 1984 till 1986 he worked Saudi Arabia at Saadco, a dairy company with 7000 milking cows. Over time, he specialized in market information. Within the EU pre-accession programs for the central European countries in the nineties, he implemented agricultural market information systems in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania and Romania. Since 2000 he focused on CRM during several years (CRM=Customer Relationship Management). About half of his career has been spent in an international environment. Apart from the countries mentioned above he carried out assignments in Libya, Egypt, South Africa, Kenya, Burkina Faso, India, South Korea, Ukraine, Georgia, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey.
