Victor Phaff

Victor studied marketing in the East of Holland. From 1977 to 1989 he worked for the NIVAA, the Dutch Institute for the Promotion of Arable Products. He organized the export promotion sector for potatoes and onions. He started as an assistant and a few year later he was the marketing manager. Victor speaks 5 languages. In 1989 Victor was director for marketing and sales at the potato processing industry Polder Food in Lelystad, an initiative of a group of potato growers in Flevoland. He moved from Rotterdam to the new “polder” and joined the Polderfood’s marketing team. In 1991 Polder Food was acquired by McCain. McCain took over production and now it is one of the largest production sites in Europe.
In September 1991 Phaff Export Marketing was founded in Dronten, at the North East of Amsterdam and since 1997 a limited company
